The next card I want to use, with the oldest image files on it, then gets reformatted in the camera for the next shoot. After all the files have been verified to have successfully transferred, I put that card aside until I need to reuse it. I never 'cut' from the original saved files on the SD card, I always copy. Is it always better to copy and paste to computer and then delete manually from the SD itself on the camera rather than cut to computer?
